Rethink Your Drink

A health campaign providing education on healthier beverage options for students and staff to reduce the intake of sugar, as well as the impact of sugar-sweetened beverages on health. Check it out here!

Smart Snacks In Schools

New USDA standards for snack food and beverages sold to children at school during the school day. Required by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, schools will offer healthier snack foods to children, while limiting junk food. Click here to learn more!

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

MPS distributes over 1,748,600 FFVP snacks to our students each school year!
 
FFVP provides elementary students with free fresh fruits and vegetables during the school day. Introducing new produce and creating conversation on items in season.
