Whether it’s after school, on school-release days, or during summer, kids 18 and under can visit participating community sites for no-cost healthy meals and snacks from Minneapolis Public Schools. Children do not need to attend Minneapolis Public Schools to participate!
Community sites include MPRB parks, Hennepin County Libraries, or other local community sites. Please check in with the park or library directly for meal times, menus, and the latest information. The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Holiday Schedule can be found here.
See list below for sites that are serving no-cost meals and snack over spring break. Families should contact the site directly for schedule, building hours, and meal types being offered. (Updated March 2023)
Free nutritious school meals for kids 18 and under are only a click away. The Free Meals for Kids mobile app helps families and kids in need find and access free meals at nearly 400 schools and community sites across Minnesota.
