MPS Culinary & Wellness Services hosts an annual Junior Iron Chef Competition to raise awareness for our district's shifts towards more healthy, fresh, scratch-cooked meals; and excite students about good food and cooking! 

5th annual Junior Iron Chef Competition

When: May 2nd, 2019 | 5:30-7:30pm

Emcee'd by The Splendid Table's Lynne Rossetto Kasper & Weekly Dish's Stephanie Hansen 

Join us as middle school students and local chefs team up to compete top-chef for a panel of judges! Teams will have one hour to prepare a dish using a pantry of ingredients, and the winning dish will be added to the MPS lunch menu! This year's competition theme will be plant-forward food, so each team's dish will  vegetarian using plant-based protein.
