Let's Roll MPS - Southside

October 11 | 3PM - 5 PM
3100 East 28th Street Minneapolis

The Let's Roll MPS is a free, slow-paced group bicycle ride that celebrates bicycle efforts in our school district, the beauty of Minneapolis, and the joy in our connections to each other.
The Let's Roll MPS on October 11 is an inclusive ride in partnership with Sullivan Steam Magnet, Anishinabe Academy, and Twins Cities Adaptive Cycling. We have mapped out a fairly flat, three-mile route that can be navigated by a variety of abilities and bicycles. Everyone is invited: staff, students, families and community! Students must be accompanied by a caregiver/guardian or by staff who has signed permission slips for the group. This ride starts and ends at  the Sullivan and Anishinabe playground (3100 East 28th Street Minneapolis).
To participate, gather on your bicycle at 3:00 PM at Sullivan and Anishinabe playground (3100 East 28th Street Minneapolis). Find the welcome table and sign the event waiver. Together we will bike a lovely loop on the streets and trails near these schools. The ride will end around back at Sullivan/Anishinabe where we will celebrate with a meal for the kids and True Food Sampling for all to enjoy.

Know Before You Roll

Bring your own bicycle. Wear a helmet, pump your tires, check your brakes, and remember bicyclists have the same rights and responsibilities as car drivers. All participants will sign a waiver. Students must be accompanied by a caregiver/guardian or by staff who has signed permission slips for the group.
